This
summer, hundreds of national and international
goat enthusiasts will descend upon Lindsay, Ontario to
participate in the International Goat Symposium.
The Symposium will be held on August 11-13, 2009 with
the majority of the events taking place at the Lindsay
Fairgrounds. The 2009 Symposium will include a dairy
goat show, the Canadian Dairy Buck Classic, one and a
half days of diverse speakers, a trade show featuring
goat industry suppliers and processors, a welcome
reception, a Banquet and a full day of farm tours. In
its fourth year, the International Goat Symposium
continues to grow and expects to host over 400
participants at this year’s event.
